These tacos tasted great! I loved the flavorful chipotle sauce, and it was packed with plenty of cabbage and cilantro to offset the rich fried fish and sauce.
Kimchi pork dumplings – Trove

I loved the flavor and texture of these dumplings, but they were definitely salty. It kinda blew out your taste buds after a while. 😦

I actually enjoyed this! I’ve never had a tamarind mole, but the bright citrus-y quality of the mole worked well with the seafood. The corn cake was also pretty good and great for sopping up the mole.

This was good, but I wish that the bacon was a little crispier. It’s hard to chew through limp, soggy bacon when biting into a large waffle filled with a lot of stuff.

They improved the United Clubs at SFO, and they know provide a wider variety of snacks. They tend to get really busy though so sometimes it’s no longer any more relaxing than being in the terminal areas.

Squid ink pasta with calamari, prawns, and ‘Nduja sausage in white wine. $18

I liked the idea of this dish (since I love squid ink), but it tasted kinda funky. Maybe it was the white wine, but this dish didn’t come together for me. There was an odd flavor that I couldn’t quite resolve.
Roasted pork sandwich – Harrow

With carrot-apple slaw, pickled onions, shaved jalapeno, cilantro, ground mustard and sriracha aioli. $11

This sandwich was delicious! The bread was surprisingly soft and I liked that it was toasted. The roasted pork was very flavorful and the extra toppings gave it an almost banh mi feel. I enjoyed the kick from the jalapenos and the crunch from the apples. The acid from the mustard and pickled veggies was a nice counterpoint to the tender, juicy pork. Mmm…

This pasta was lovely. I loved the texture of the fettucine and the meat sauce was rich and delicious. We’ve got a winner!
