Andretti Winery, Napa CA
I wasn’t really impressed by all the wine here, and the grounds were small and felt a bit cheesy.

Spinach, foie gras hollandaise, potatoes, salad. $19
Redd, Yountville CA
Wow, this was frickin’ amazing! The duck was great, the foie gras hollandaise was great, the house made English muffin was great, everything was great! Noms!

Honey lemon yogurt granola squares. Complimentary

Onion, cilantro, spicy salsa. $3.75
La Taqueria, San Francisco
This was delicious, but maybe too game-y tasting for me. I love lengua, but this had an exceptionally strong flavor that didn’t agree with me.

Fennel ribbons, cara orange and grapefruit supremes, shaved Atika. $12
Foreign Cinema, San Francisco CA
I wasn’t impressed by this. It was messy, unfocused, and didn’t taste very good. I love sardines but this was a rare miss by Foreign Cinema.

Bread and butter. Complimentary

2013 Napa Valley Chardonnay. Reserve flight $25
Cosentino Winery, Yountville CA
The wine here was fun and varied. Although the outside wine tasting area was pleasant enough, it was still next to the main highway so it wasn’t the optimal location.

2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc.

2011 Cabernet Sauvignon – Barrel Select.

2012 Field Blend – Barrel Select.

Cosentino Winery.

$7.69
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza. The sourdough crust was delicious and the toppings were pretty good. This certainly doesn’t compare to an artisan pizza around SF, but it’s a great quick lunch pizza at a great price.

With bacon chive butter. $8
Redd, Yountville CA
Omg, these cheddar biscuits were frickin’ amazing! And the bacon chive butter was sinfully addictive. I didn’t want to eat a lot of these, but I couldn’t stop myself because they were SO delicious!

Coffee. $3

Reserve Blanc de Blancs. Reserve tasting $20
Domaine Chandon, Yountville CA
Mmm, Domaine Chandon is one of my favorite places in Yountville. I love their sparkling wines and their grounds are lovely.

Reserve Pinot Noir Rose.

Colorful wine counter.

Moroccan spices, dried fruit, olives, and chick peas. $26
Leatherneck Steakhouse, San Francisco CA
This osso bucco was very tasty and super tender. I loved the Moroccan spices and the sauce was wonderful. I also liked the delicious mashed potatoes. I’m sure there was about a pound of butter in it, but the texture was great.

Roasted garlic mashed potatoes. $8

Four pieces served with three sauces. Prosperity dinner $88
M.Y. China, San Francisco CA
I’m not sure how 4 pieces becomes 2 pieces with only 1 sauce, but I think it’s lame – FAIL! If your menu says one thing, maybe you have the responsibility of actually delivering what it says.

Andouille sausage, Italian sausage, jalapenos, onions, cilantro, green onions. $16.50
Ambrosia Pizza, Kentfield CA
The owner was really great and came by our table several times! But I guess it helps that he knew my dining partner, lol! This pizza was great. I loved the toppings and the yummy crust. There a little mishap in getting our drinks (I think they forgot), but otherwise it was a great experience.

Bread and butter. Complimentary

Classic pork and beef meatloaf with house smoked bacon, lettuce, whole grain mustard and pickled red onion. $9.50
Fatted Calf, San Francisco CA
This sandwich tasted great! The thick slice of meatloaf was flavorful and not dense or dry. Noms!
