Prosperity dinner $88
M.Y. China, San Francisco CA
This tasted fine, but I was a bit bored by it (like most of the food at M.Y. China). *yawn*

Corn tortilla chips topped with nacho cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and pickled jalapenos. $9
Senor Sisig, SF Street Food Festival 2013, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was very good. Pork sisig is delicious on its own, but apparently it also great in nachos, lol! This is total comfort food.

Pickled onion, cucumber. $10
ABV, San Francisco CA
This was one pretty good burger. It was definitely on the small side (almost slider-sized), but the patty was delicious and I loved the small, soft bun. This burger was simple and delicious!

Fogerty: rye, campari, cacao, orange bitters. $11

With blue cheese dressing. Complimentary with entree
Leatherneck Steakhouse, San Francisco CA
Mmm, I love a nice, simple wedge salad. This was pretty good and the blue cheese dressing was yummy too.

Roasted garlic, balsamic vinegar and butter.

Bread roll.

Lamb cooked with potatoes in a special spicy sauce. $9
Naan-N-Curry, San Francisco CA
Ok, this was a bit oily, but it was certainly delicious and super flavorful! The lamb tasted great and the vindaloo sauce was spicy and wonderful. Mmm…

Plain naan. $1

Shrimp, scallop, calamari with mixed greens and mushrooms. Prosperity dinner $88
M.Y. China, San Francisco CA
This was actually pretty good (surprising since I’ve hated almost everything I’ve had at M.Y. China). The seafood was good nicely (not overcooked) and the sauce was light and didn’t overpower the ingredients.

House-made corn chips covered with cheese, pork, jalapenos, sour cream, black beans, and salsa. $9.80
Tacos Club, San Francisco CA
I liked these nachos! The pork was very tasty and tender and the toppings were quality. The house made chips were also thick and strong enough to withstand holding all the toppings without breaking. They really need a salsa bar though!

Served with baked beans, frankaroni (crispy fried mac & cheese with hot dog inside), pickles and warm buttery parker house roll. $12.75
4505 Burgers & BBQ, San Francisco CA
Wow, everything on this plate was simple wonderful! The brisket was SO tender and juicy and packed with flavor. It was fatty and soft and I absolutely loved it. The frankaroni was also great – definitely not diet-friendly but definitely a must-try. NOMS!

Beef brisket.

Frankaroni.

Got here right when they opened on a Saturday morning!

Roasted corn relish. $15
Leatherneck Steakhouse, San Francisco CA
I liked these crab cakes because they were light and airy with a wonderful flavor. The roasted corn relish were a great accompaniment.

Manhattan.

Three pieces. $5.60
Koi Palace, Daly City CA
Ok, these were pretty damn delicious! The egg custard filling is molten hot, so be careful though. I loved the sweet flavor and the grainy texture of it.

Koi Palace.

Skin-on, four pieces. Prosperity dinner $88
M.Y. China, San Francisco CA
The duck tasted pretty good and I liked the crispy skin, but these buns just felt sad. The shells were also dry and hard.

Malbec, Siete Fincas, Mendoza, 2012. $9
Tempranillo, Ramon Bilboa, Bodia Alta. $9

Cornichons, mustard, grilled levain. Happy hour $6
Farallon, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was SO yummy, and for only six bucks during happy hour! We had to ask for a bit more bread, but I loved the variety for the value.

Classic Manhattan. Happy hour $6
