Steamed rice, salad, fish sauce. $7
Que Huong Vietnamese Deli, San Francisco CA
This was pretty tasty, but the chicken was a little dry. It had a nice flavor though. There was also a good amount of food for seven bucks. Nice!

I love padron peppers! They’re even easy to make a home, but it’s so much easier to order them at a restaurant. Lol

Sorry for the horrible pic, but this charcuterie plate was fantastic! I loved the variety of meats and they all tasted great. Noms!

Blood & Sand: Dewar’s scotch, Noilly Prat sweet vermouth, Cherry Heering, orange. $13

Pulled smoked pork shoulder, buttermilk fried chicken, cheese grits, collard greens, jalapeno corn bread muffin. Sunday brunch buffet
Seasons, Washington DC
I was pleasantly surprised that the Seasons Sunday brunch buffet had a bbq station. I really liked the corn bread muffin. The pork was on the dry and tough side even while being super saucy which I liked. The fried chicken had a great flavor, but was a bit greasy.

Pickles, mustard, crostini. Happy hour $5
Luc, Seattle WA
This country terrine was really well prepared and delicious. It was rich and fatty and packed with flavor. Mmm!

Sicilian meat balls with pine nuts and raisins, braised chard, spicy tomato sugo. $13
Barbacco, San Francisco CA
More, please! These meatballs were absolutely perfect. They had a great texture that wasn’t too dense. The tomato sauce was sublime and I just wanted more, lol! This dish definitely belongs on the 7×7 list (unlike some other dishes).

Fried Yukon potato, spicy tomato sauce, smoked paprika, confit garlic aioli. Happy hour $5
Beso, San Francisco CA
You all know that I love patatas bravas so I was pleased to see that this version was pretty good. The fried potatoes were perfectly cooked and the tomato sauce was very yummy.

Sangria. Happy hour pitcher $24

English muffin, French fries. Add epoisses cheese and grilled mushrooms. $27
Spruce, San Francisco CA
This hamburger was delicious, but I don’t think it was almost-thirty-dollars delicious, even with the added cheese and grilled mushrooms. I did like the English muffin bun and juicy beef patty. The fries were also great!

Remember the Maine: Bulleit rye, Noilly Prat sweet vermouth, Cherry Heering, St. George absinthe.

Seafood etouffee, macaroni and cheese, braised short ribs, bacon, Maryland crab cake, grilled lamb chop, roasted cauliflower. Sunday brunch buffet
Seasons, Washington DC
I loved the variety of proteins at the Seasons brunch. Not everything was perfect, but I mostly liked the items. The short rib was dry for instance, but I really enjoyed the mac and cheese. The crust on the lamb chop was also nice and crispy and flavorful. The crab cake was forgettable.

Pernod broth, toasted fennel oil. Happy hour $5
Luc, Seattle WA
I usually prefer mussels over clams because they’re meatier and less work to eat, but these were yummy! I’m glad this came with the grilled bread to soak up the delicious broth.

Manette Bridge, Bremerton.

Tuscan chicken liver pate with balsamic braised onion, roasted hen of the woods mushroom with parmigiano, roasted peppers with anchovy and capers. Each $3
Barbacco, San Francisco CA
Mmm, these were SO good! Each bruchette was very distinct and delicious in its on way. I wish I had more time to try the other preparations. I will definitely be back!

Strawberry mint limonata. $3

Basic toppings with bbq pork (1 slice), green onion, mushroom. Add chasu, boiled egg, and spinach. $13.95
Ramen Underground, San Francisco CA
I think this ramen is kinda expensive for a regular lunch. Once you add extra toppings, and tax and tip, you end up spending more than fifteen bucks for a bowl of soup! The quality has also gone downhill. The charsu pork slices were tiny and torn up – very sad. I don’t think it’s worth it any longer to wait in the ridiculously long line for this food.
