Now back to the food. This bacon was a little to dry and crispy for my taste. It was cooked to the point of almost tasting like cardboard. What a waste of bacon!

Omg, these cheddar biscuits were frickin’ amazing! And the bacon chive butter was sinfully addictive. I didn’t want to eat a lot of these, but I couldn’t stop myself because they were SO delicious!

Red Dog Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This was good, but it’s the exact same egg salad sandwich that they serve at Il Cane Rosso which is the same restaurant group. If you’d had one, you really don’t need the other. 7×7 is kinda lame when they do this!

I really liked this. The texture of the toast was nice and airy and it was pretty great slathered in butter and about a cup of cinnamon mixture. The wait for a slice can get pretty long though.

Ugh, this isn’t what I really wanted to eat, but it was convenient and I was starving. The focaccia wasn’t very good and the toppings were over re-heated and hard. The service here was also laughable. Nobody new what they were doing and they were SO frickin’ slow!

These macarons were delicious and I loved the flavor options. The loungey vibe of the space was also nice and relaxing. Noms!

Pho 75, Arlington VA
It was nice to have a really delicious and cheap meal this time around. The broth at Pho 75 was pretty good (not the best I’ve had, but pretty good). This is a basic restaurant with quick service, and they only take cash. It’s pretty popular but they seem to get the people through quickly.

I came here to recharge after an extended happy hour, and found out that they give away their extra pastries right before they close. I was able to score a yummy almond croissant. My latte was pretty yummy too!

This dessert was delicious! But then I do love tarte tatins. This one was especially good and beautiful. I loved the large apple wedges and their magnificent color. The fruit still had a pleasant firmness to them which made them even better. Noms!

Sheesh, these beignets were super dense which takes away the joy of eating them. I liked the honey but that’s about it. They were also over-fried in my opinion.

This scone was actually really good. I liked the light, crumbly texture and the savory ingredients were yummy. They also heated it up before serving so it was especially good.

Ugh, the service here was horrible. The workers seemed bored and lackadaisical. Puh-lease, go find another job that doesn’t involved customer service if you’re THAT bored!
