After getting into bourbons, I’ve been constantly surprised at what actually tastes good as a mixer. This was the first time I had a bourbon lemonade and I loved it! I’ve been ordering this drink at bars ever since. Hehe!

I was really impressed by the cocktails at Workshop. They were expertly made and while not all of them agreed with me in flavor, I appreciated the thoughtful ingredients they used to make these concoctions.
“Ward 8, rye, house made grenadine, fresh lemon and orange juices, originating in Boston around the turn of the 20th century and named after a notoriously corrupt voting district; fortunately for us the political corruption of yesteryear is virtually extinct (insert big wink here). However, this drink is as delicious and morally in debt as it ever was.” $10

I appreciated that this margarita was sugar free, but I wasn’t a fan of the flavor. The sugar substitute in the mix tasted a little funny. I think I’d rather scarifice having the sugar to get the correct flavor next time.

I guess this space used to be a Denny’s or an IHOP, but they’ve turned it into a funky, warm retro restaurant. The staff is super hipster and friendly. A bit on the slow side but hipsters can’t be bother, hehe.

Wow, I really am becoming a whiskey drinker, lol! I think my favorite of these drinks was the Tsunami Old Fashioned. It tasted great and went down smoothly.

Not quite sure what made this margarita “skinny”, but it tasted pretty good! Perhaps it’s because they didn’t use any sugary margarita mix. They serve it in a huge glass so I’m sure the large quantity negates any “skinny” promises.

We came here for a late lunch after a morning of shopping and we were surprised how nice it was. It’s just down the road from the PS house, so it was nice to discover a new nearby place to eat and relax. It was super sunny on the patio so this bloody mary was welcomed! It was on the large side and very tasty – score!
Escena Golf Club. With a view like this, you can’t help but eat and enjoy yourself.
