Desiccated coconut, cashew nut curry. $11
1601 Bar & Kitchen, San Francisco CA
This had good flavors, but it was definitely greasy. Perhaps the oil wasn’t hot enough or something, but greasy fried is the not most appealing thing to eat.

With ranch sauce. $2.99
The Habit Burger Grill, Rohnert Park CA
These were surprisingly good! I was expecting them to be super greasy, but they were nicely fried and crunchy on the outside. Yes, please!

The Cheesecake Factory, San Francisco CA
My office got me a cheesecake for my birthday – they are so sweet! I told them I love tiramisu so they decided to combine to wonderful dessert and got this cheesecake as a surprise. It was very tasty. Thanks guys!

Topped with mole sauce and queso fresco. $4.50
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
I do like the mole sauce at Tropisueno. It has a nice deep flavor without being bitter. Their a la carte enchiladas are definitely on the small side, but I just fill up on their complimentary chips and salsa anyway. Hehe!

Stir fried with eggs, mushrooms, cabbage, bamboo shoots, flour pancake. Banquet lunch
Hunan Home’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This was really funny to me. I don’t think I’ve ever seen mu shu pork served in flour tortillas, lol! So lame, what a joke!

Millionaire’s bacon, poached eggs, asparagus, tomato, meyer lemon hollandaise. Served on ciabatta toast with rainbow potato. $17
Kitchen Story, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was really tasty! But anything tastes good with millionaire’s bacon on it. I liked the rainbow potatoes too, but I wished the toasted ciabatta was a softer. You could cut your mouth on those things!

Refried beans, avocado, cheese, jalapenos and our cream. $9.25
Taqueria Vallarta, San Francisco CA
I think these nachos were just ok. The grilled beef was a bit dry and tough. Perhaps it was because I got these to go and by the time I got home, the tortilla chips were pretty soggy and the cheese was already congealed.

Squid ink tostada. NYE tasting menu $175
Californios, San Francisco CA
Omg, dinner here was amazing! We sat at the counter and chatted with Chef Val which was a nice treat. It was also great to see the staff make all the dishes. This uni tostada was delicious and the uni was so fresh and lovely. Noms!

Lime pickle emulsion, spiced carrot puree. $12
1601 Bar & Kitchen, San Francisco CA
These roasted cauliflower were really tasty! I loved the texture and the different sauces were yummy too. I just wish the service could have been better.

Fieldwork Canopy, American pale ale, 5.2%. $7
Berryessa Markley, American pale ale, 6.5%. $7
The Crafty Fox Ale House, San Francisco CA
This place was pretty cool. I like the chill vibe and the copper counter top was cute. They had a nice selection of beer, and I’ve got to remember to come back to try their food!

Served with mashed potatoes with mushroom bacon pan sauce, seasonal veggies, extra side of gravy. $14.95
Ovok, San Francisco CA
I liked the flavor of the meatloaf and the glaze was delicous, but it was a bit dense and try. The mashed potatoes were super heavy and just plugged up my stomach like a brick. Ugh!
