Old Overheat rye, amaro, lime, blood orange bitters. $12

This cocktail was delicious. I loved the rich flavor and it was neatly made. The foam top added a nice texture too.

Estancia ground sirloin, golden raisins, pimiento stuffed olives. $3

I think I like the chicken empanada better, but this was also tasty! I somehow liked the powdered sugar on top. It was a nice flavor contrast to the ground beef and olives inside the empanada. I need to learn how to make their super buttery, flaky empanada crust! It’s SO good!
Jerked red snapper, Brazilian mango, cabbage, serrano-tomatillo salsa. Garnished iwth arugula and lime wedge. $8
Pisco Latin Lounge, San Francisco
Another tasty bite from Pisco Lounge. They know how to make delicious snack food for when you’re hanging out with friends and having drinks. The fish was nicely cooked and the salsa was bright and fresh. They were a on the small side so if you’re super hungry, I’d order the empanadas instead.
Grilled chicken, queso fresco, aji huacatay. $3
Pisco Latin Lounge, San Francisco
This tasted amazing and I loved the aji dipping sauce. The empanada was nice and crispy/chewy on the outside and the chicken and queso were so flavorful. And for only $3 each, you can’t go wrong!
Mexican mahi mahi, habanero, baby octopus, tiger prawns, tomato, meyer lemon, avocado. $12
Pisco Latin Lounge, San Francisco
This was very tasty! Maybe a little on the citrus-y side, but it had lots of flavor. I love the pieces of octopus tentacles, they were fun to eat. I didn’t like that it was served in a martini glass though, especially one with such a small base. It’s always difficult to pass around and I’m always afraid that I’ll tip it over since it’s so top heavy.
