Papas Francesca – Tabbuli

Papas Francesca - Tabbuli
Fried potatoes, spicy aioli, diced tomatoes, green onions, chopped parsley. $6
Tabbuli, Charleston SC

This was not what I expected, lol! This dish was pretty much seasoned french fries with stuff on top. I think I was expecting potatoes closer to papas bravas. 🙂 But these were tasty, nonetheless! I love seasoned french fries so they really couldn’t go wrong with this one.

Chips and mango salsa – Taco Mamacita

Chips and mango salsa - Taco Mamacita
Tortilla chips served with house-made mango salsa. $2.99
Taco Mamacita, Sullivan’s Island SC

Hmm, definitely not authentic tasting for Mexican food which is perfectly fine, but it actually lacked flavor too! I was a little surprised that a mango salsa could be this bland. Hey, it was only three bucks so I’ll take it!

Camarena Reposada tequila, Mt. Gay rum, blood orange, lime juice, lemongrass simple syrup, soda. $10

This cocktail had a great combination of sweet, tart, refreshing, and flavor. I love color in my cocktails and this one had a beautiful soft peach color.

Ripley Point Marina
Ripley Point Marina. I’m not sure if I’d stay on this side of the river on future visits, but it was good to try it.
