Fish tacos – Ivar’s Seafood Bar

Fish tacos - Ivar's Seafood Bar
Spicy seared rockfish topped with coleslaw. 2 pieces $5.29
Ivar’s Seafood Bar, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

This was a nice break from the usual fish and chips that I normally eat at the SeaTac airport. These taco were pretty good, but the service was horrendous! There was a crowd of people waiting for their food. It seemed like the stand was grossly understaffed and it annoyed everyone.

Hama Hama oysters – Eureka Restaurant and Lounge

Hama Hama oysters - Eureka Restaurant and Lounge
Happy hour $1 each
Eureka Restaurant & Lounge, San Francisco CA

The texture was REALLY off on these oysters. They were definitely not fresh. Ugh! In all honesty these oysters tasted like crap which sucked because we ordered a dozen. I don’t know how old they were but they should NOT have served them!

Eureka Manhattan - Eureka Restaurant and Lounge
Eureka Manhattan: Bulleit bourbon, Cinzano red, and Angostura bitters. Happy hour $7

Oasis Buffet, Palm Springs CA

The lil fat kid in me can’t say “no” to a buffet, lol! I know they’re never going to be good, but I like having all the options. Oasis Buffet was actually decent and had a nice variety of items.

Prestige gulf oysters – Luke

Prestige gulf oysters - Luke

These pretty good. Not the best or freshest, but definitely good for 75 cents during happy hour. The staff was super friendly and professional.

Clam chowder – Fog Harbor Fish House

Clam chowder - Fog Harbor Fish House
Cup $6
Fog Harbor Fish House, San Francisco CA

Mmm, this chowder was very tasty! It isn’t the best version in San Francisco, but it’s pretty damn tasty especially for a restaurant in the tourist trap that is Pier 39. I would definitely order this again if I was at the Pier.

Sourdough bread and butter - Fog Harbor Fish House
Sourdough bread and butter. Complimentary

Blue Moon draft beer - Fog Harbor Fish House
Blue Moon draft. $7

Roasted octopus – Liholiho Yacht Club

Roasted octopus - Liholiho Yacht Club
Curried raisins, castelvetrano, butterball potatoes, cilantro. $16.50
Liholiho Yacht Club, San Francisco CA

This was very good. I thought the combination of ingredients was fun and tasty, between the sweet golden raisins, the savory potatoes, and the smoky octopus. Mmm!
