Miso ramen – Pao Jao Dumpling & Ramen

Miso ramen - Pao Jao Dumpling & Ramen
Pork belly, spinach, chives, nori, bean sprouts, sliced red peppers. Added kakuni and boiled egg. $12.50
Pao Jao Dumpling & Ramen, San Francisco CA

This place was new to me at the International lunch place off Kearny Street. I liked the overall flavor of the dish, and I though that their pork belly was really tender and delicious (mostly because it was so fatty, mmm…). I thought their boiled eggs was weirdly shaped thought. It was like they boiled them all together, jamming them into a bot so they became misshapen.

Chicken crisp burrito combo – Taco Time

Chicken crisp burrito combo - Taco Time
All-white chicken, cream cheese, mild green chiles, onions and spices hand-rolled in a soft flour tortilla, then deep-fried to golden perfection. Includes a 22 oz drink and small Mexi-Fries.
Taco Time, Seattle WA

Mmm, these chicken crisp burritos are also on my Seattle cravings list for when I visit. They’re so bad for you, but they taste SO good especially when dipped in their yummy salsa.

Seasoned chicken breast bites – Big E Ales

Seasoned chicken breast bites - Big E Ales
Boneless cuts of tender chicken breast with homestyle breading. Served with ranch dressing. $7.59
Big E Ales, Lynnwood WA

These weren’t all that special and they were actually kinda hard and dry. The breading tasted good though and definitely tasted better with dipped in the ranch. I’m not sure I could differentiate these from frozen.

Metreon burger – Buckhorn Grill

Metreon burger - Buckhorn Grill
6 oz beef patty with balsamic peppers and onions, blue cheese, tomato, and sweet and fire bbq sauce. $7.99
Buckhorn Grill, San Francisco CA

The description of this burger looked much more interesting than how it arrived. This burger was pretty small and only had a small amount of toppings besides the tomato. Pretty lame if you ask me.

Hawaiian bbq chicken mini plate – L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Hawaiian bbq chicken mini plate - L&L Hawaiian Barbecue
Served with macaroni salad and brown rice. $7.04
L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, San Francisco CA

Wow, haven’t had L&L in a while but I was kinda craving their macaroni salad. Their meats tend to run on the salty side, but I guess that’s what the rice and pasta are for – to help absorb all the salt and grease.

Caterpillar roll & Crunch California roll – Tokyo Express

Caterpillar roll & Crunch California roll - Tokyo Express
Caterpillar roll: shrimp tempura, sliced avocado on top. Crunch California roll: tempura crunch, crab salad, avocado, cucumber. Served with side salad an miso soup. Wednesday Daily Special $10.99
Tokyo Express, San Francisco CA

Again, not the best sushi, but it does the trick for a quick and relatively cheap (for SF FiDi) lunch.

The Hot Wes – WesBurger ‘N’ More

The Hot Wes - WesBurger 'N' More
6 oz patty with onion rings, queso, and pickled jalapenos. Served with tater tots during lunch. $11
WesBurger ‘N’ More, San Francisco CA

Um, this burger was frickin’ awesome! I loved all the toppings and the beef patty was so juicy and flavorful. The tots were also great I loved their dipping sauce options. Noms – must remember to come back!

Indian rice bowl – Bamboo Asia

Indian rice bowl - Bamboo Asia
Brown rice with lamb meatballs, chickpeas, cauliflower, avocado, New Dehli slaw, cilantro, masala chutney, and cucumber raita. $10.10
Bamboo Asia, San Francisco CA

This bowl had a lot of everything! And I’m not sure everything taste great together. It could have benefited from a little editing in the toppings department. It was very filling though!
