These French fries were great, but it was the harissa aioli that I really loved. I couldn’t stop eating them with that dipping sauce!

Que Huong Vietnamese Deli, San Francisco CA
Mmm, these were delicious! Yes, they were greasier than I would have liked, but they still tasted pretty amazing. I guess I’m just a sucker for Vietnamese egg rolls with fish sauce.

Salmon, mussels, prawns. Happy hour $10

Mmm, beef bourguignon is such a French classic, and this little bowl of it was great! I loved the rich decadent stew with the buttery mashed potatoes underneath. The beef was tender and juicy and perfect with the pearl onions and mushrooms.

Three Twins Ice Cream, Larkspur CA
I really like Three Twins ice cream. It has a nice medium consistency that’s not too milky or too dense, and the flavors are great. Here in San Francisco, you can also buy the ice cream at the grocery stores. This mocha flavor was yummy!

College of Marin, Kentfield.

Sunday brunch buffet
Seasons, Washington DC
There were SO many dessert options! Even though I’m not much of a dessert guy, I took it upon myself to try as many as I could. 🙂 They were actually very good!

Even though this was a smaller version, it was certainly packed with flavor and the seafood was nicely prepared. The broth was also SO tasty!

Que Huong Vietnamese Deli, San Francisco CA
This was pretty tasty, but the chicken was a little dry. It had a nice flavor though. There was also a good amount of food for seven bucks. Nice!

I love padron peppers! They’re even easy to make a home, but it’s so much easier to order them at a restaurant. Lol

Sorry for the horrible pic, but this charcuterie plate was fantastic! I loved the variety of meats and they all tasted great. Noms!

Pulled smoked pork shoulder, buttermilk fried chicken, cheese grits, collard greens, jalapeno corn bread muffin. Sunday brunch buffet
Seasons, Washington DC
I was pleasantly surprised that the Seasons Sunday brunch buffet had a bbq station. I really liked the corn bread muffin. The pork was on the dry and tough side even while being super saucy which I liked. The fried chicken had a great flavor, but was a bit greasy.

Washington tomb, Mount Vernon.

Pickles, mustard, crostini. Happy hour $5

This country terrine was really well prepared and delicious. It was rich and fatty and packed with flavor. Mmm!

Sicilian meat balls with pine nuts and raisins, braised chard, spicy tomato sugo. $13
Barbacco, San Francisco CA
More, please! These meatballs were absolutely perfect. They had a great texture that wasn’t too dense. The tomato sauce was sublime and I just wanted more, lol! This dish definitely belongs on the 7×7 list (unlike some other dishes).
