Mmm, this chowder was very tasty! It isn’t the best version in San Francisco, but it’s pretty damn tasty especially for a restaurant in the tourist trap that is Pier 39. I would definitely order this again if I was at the Pier.

This was very good. I thought the combination of ingredients was fun and tasty, between the sweet golden raisins, the savory potatoes, and the smoky octopus. Mmm!

This was one of my favorite dishes of the night! But I think that the octopus and crispy squid were the stars of the dish. The whole thing tasted wonderfully together though, and I couldn’t get enough!

Ugh, this was SO salty! And the host was a jerk. He was so unprofessional. We were seated near the host desk and we could hear him continually talking badly about the customers.

This tasted great, but it was actually really greasy!!! And I didn’t like that – lame. I also thought the French fries AND cream biscuit was just fatty carb overload. I would’ve appreciated another option for sides.

I liked the flavors in this dish, but it was definitely on the salty side. The curry and turmeric were great. The clams were also pretty small and tough so I kinda wish they were large plump mussels instead.

Hmm, this dish didn’t excite me. The beef was nicely prepared, but the dish didn’t seem fun and inventive. The mustard-miso oyster sauce fell flat for me. I loved the variety of greens though.

These were pretty tasty and unique. I loved all the different flavors, and the deep fried avocado had a nice firm texture. I kinda wish this was a meat taco though with the avocado as an additional topping. I’m definitely now a vegetarian, lol.
