Pepperoni, San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil. $12
Prova Pizzeria, West Hollywood CA
This pizza was pretty gross. The crust was SO under-cooked – it was like chewing through play dough. Ugh, what a pizza fail!

Lettuce, tomato, pickle. Served with onion rings.
Hamburger Haven, West Hollywood CA
Yes, this burger kinda lame and even the onion rings were sub-par, but I guess you really can’t complain after a long night of partying. Lol!

Soy cured papaya, fermented chili, basil. $17
Ink, Los Angeles CA
Wow, this dish was both delicate on texture and aggressive with flavor. The scallops were SO tender and silky and I loved all the wonderful toppings. Delish!

Goat’s milk, strawberry. Tasting menu $155
Lazy Bear, San Francisco CA
Ugh, I did not like this at all – prolly the worst dish of the night. The textures were gummy and sticky slick. I almost didn’t finish the dish but I figured I was paying a lot of money so I should at least get it into my belly, lol!

House-made ricotta, sugar snap peas, and pecorino romano cheese. Prix fixe dinner $29.50
Hearth Coffee Roasters, San Francisco CA
I don’t usually enjoy vegetarian/vegan entrees, but this pasta dish was delicious! I loved the slightly cooked peas and cauliflower, and the ravioli were cooked perfectly. Noms!

Option A $15.99 per person
Koginara, Los Angeles CA

Went here with a couple friends and had a great time! You get SO much food for very little money and the service was pretty friendly and attentive compared to other AYCE KBBQ places. They kept on top of our table when we needed more food and they were also good at changing out our dirty grills. I would definitely return!

They switched out the stone grill to a wire one midway through.

Fried rice with egg (not included in all you can eat).

Banchan and seaweed salad.

Roasted pork, fancy pork loaf and pork pate with pickled carrot and daikon radishes, cilantro, cucumber, jalapeno, and mayo on a French baguette. $7.49
Dinosaurs, San Francisco CA
Dinosaurs makes a pretty damn tasty banh mi sandwich! I love all the delicious meat in this sandwich and their pickled veggies are perfect. Noms!

Fermented almond milk mousse, hibiscus pate de fruit, white chocolate and buttermilk powder. Tasting menu $155
Lazy Bear, San Francisco CA
This dessert was really different and seemed really complicated, and I though it tasted delicious. I’m not a big fan of almond milk, but I enjoyed it in the soft silky mousse and it was a nice complement to the rhubarb and hibiscus.

Avocado, curly endive, and toasted sweet potato chips. Prix fixe dinner $29.50
Hearth Coffee Roasters, San Francisco CA
This was delicious! I loved the combination of the tuna, avocado and sweet potato. The tuna was nice and fresh and the flavors worked beautifully together.

Peanut butter ice cream. Family style menu, $60 per person
Al’s Place, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was pretty tasty! The brownie wasn’t as good as the one from Marla Bakery, but all the flavors were great and I loved the peanut butter ice cream.

Chicories, bone marrow, bordelaise. Tasting menu $155
Lazy Bear, San Francisco CA
This was another beautiful and delicious dish. I don’t even remember all the different techniques used to prepare the carrots, but they were SO good. I usually think of carrots as a filler ingredient, but these felt and tasted special. Mmm…

$4
The Slice Pizza, San Francisco CA
This pizza slice was satisfyingly salty and greasy. Too bad I was having it as a quick dinner instead of a post-bar meal, lol!
