Meyer lemon cake, olive oil lemon curd. $3.25
Moustache Baked Goods, Healdsburg CA
This was good, but I wanted more of the lemon curd. It was very pretty though and I liked the little white balls on top.

Lightly fried French pastry topped with powdered sugar. $5
The Parish Cafe, Healdsburg CA
Mmm, I love beignets. These were pretty good, but they weren’t as fluffy as I like them. They tasted great with the coffee though.

Coffee. $2.50

With cracked pepper. Pasta tasting $70
Flour + Water, San Francisco CA
I guess “spuntini” means snacks, and in this case the snacks were fried pork rinds. Noms! These were fresh and tasty and fun to eat.

Fieldworks, IPA, Berkeley. $7

$5.50
Scoops, Rohnert Park CA
Ugh, the cashier charged me for a waffle cone. Does it look like my ice cream is in a waffle cone? Lame. And the ice cream wasn’t even good. It was too dense and heavy.

Black bean sope, salmon roe, creme fraiche, smoked cotija. NYE tasting menu $175
Californios, San Francisco CA
This was such a delicious bite! I can’t wait to return to Californios and see what else they come up with.

Desiccated coconut, cashew nut curry. $11
1601 Bar & Kitchen, San Francisco CA
This had good flavors, but it was definitely greasy. Perhaps the oil wasn’t hot enough or something, but greasy fried is the not most appealing thing to eat.

With ranch sauce. $2.99
The Habit Burger Grill, Rohnert Park CA
These were surprisingly good! I was expecting them to be super greasy, but they were nicely fried and crunchy on the outside. Yes, please!

The Cheesecake Factory, San Francisco CA
My office got me a cheesecake for my birthday – they are so sweet! I told them I love tiramisu so they decided to combine to wonderful dessert and got this cheesecake as a surprise. It was very tasty. Thanks guys!

Topped with mole sauce and queso fresco. $4.50
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
I do like the mole sauce at Tropisueno. It has a nice deep flavor without being bitter. Their a la carte enchiladas are definitely on the small side, but I just fill up on their complimentary chips and salsa anyway. Hehe!

Stir fried with eggs, mushrooms, cabbage, bamboo shoots, flour pancake. Banquet lunch
Hunan Home’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This was really funny to me. I don’t think I’ve ever seen mu shu pork served in flour tortillas, lol! So lame, what a joke!

Millionaire’s bacon, poached eggs, asparagus, tomato, meyer lemon hollandaise. Served on ciabatta toast with rainbow potato. $17
Kitchen Story, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was really tasty! But anything tastes good with millionaire’s bacon on it. I liked the rainbow potatoes too, but I wished the toasted ciabatta was a softer. You could cut your mouth on those things!

Refried beans, avocado, cheese, jalapenos and our cream. $9.25
Taqueria Vallarta, San Francisco CA
I think these nachos were just ok. The grilled beef was a bit dry and tough. Perhaps it was because I got these to go and by the time I got home, the tortilla chips were pretty soggy and the cheese was already congealed.
