Fennel ribbons, cara orange and grapefruit supremes, shaved Atika. $12
Foreign Cinema, San Francisco CA
I wasn’t impressed by this. It was messy, unfocused, and didn’t taste very good. I love sardines but this was a rare miss by Foreign Cinema.

$7.69
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza. The sourdough crust was delicious and the toppings were pretty good. This certainly doesn’t compare to an artisan pizza around SF, but it’s a great quick lunch pizza at a great price.

With bacon chive butter. $8
Redd, Yountville CA
Omg, these cheddar biscuits were frickin’ amazing! And the bacon chive butter was sinfully addictive. I didn’t want to eat a lot of these, but I couldn’t stop myself because they were SO delicious!

Coffee. $3

Moroccan spices, dried fruit, olives, and chick peas. $26
Leatherneck Steakhouse, San Francisco CA
This osso bucco was very tasty and super tender. I loved the Moroccan spices and the sauce was wonderful. I also liked the delicious mashed potatoes. I’m sure there was about a pound of butter in it, but the texture was great.

Roasted garlic mashed potatoes. $8

Four pieces served with three sauces. Prosperity dinner $88
M.Y. China, San Francisco CA
I’m not sure how 4 pieces becomes 2 pieces with only 1 sauce, but I think it’s lame – FAIL! If your menu says one thing, maybe you have the responsibility of actually delivering what it says.

Andouille sausage, Italian sausage, jalapenos, onions, cilantro, green onions. $16.50
Ambrosia Pizza, Kentfield CA
The owner was really great and came by our table several times! But I guess it helps that he knew my dining partner, lol! This pizza was great. I loved the toppings and the yummy crust. There a little mishap in getting our drinks (I think they forgot), but otherwise it was a great experience.

Bread and butter. Complimentary

Lamb riblets for an appetizer?! Never had it, but knew I’d love it. The lamb flavor was amazing and the harissa and raita were great sauce accompaniments. Noms!
