Dungeness crab fritters – Restaurant Lulu

Dungeness crab fritters - Restaurant Lulu
Lime creme fraiche, pickled peppers. $8.50
Restaurant Lulu, San Francisco CA

Haha! This was a frickin’ joke! I thought this was literally a joke when they brought this out. It’s the smallest little button fritters I’ve ever seen and they bring it out with oversized serving utensils to make them look even smaller! The slivers of pickled peppers were larger than these sad fried lumps. #FAIL

Pad kee mao – Kin Khao

Pad kee mao - Kin Khao
Stir-fried drunken noodles with ground pork, rice noodles, garlic, Birds Eye chili, onions, bell peppers, holy basil. $18
Kin Khao, San Francisco CA

Wow, these noodles were SO delicious! I loved all the greens on top. Besides the basil, I’m not sure what the other herbs were, but there were so interesting and tasty. This was probably some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time, and the price was indicative of the quality. I would order this again, but prolly not very often because of the price.

Hama Hama oysters – Eureka Restaurant and Lounge

Hama Hama oysters - Eureka Restaurant and Lounge
Happy hour $1 each
Eureka Restaurant & Lounge, San Francisco CA

The texture was REALLY off on these oysters. They were definitely not fresh. Ugh! In all honesty these oysters tasted like crap which sucked because we ordered a dozen. I don’t know how old they were but they should NOT have served them!
