Chicken shepherd’s pie – Cafe Flore

Chicken shepherd's pie - Cafe Flore
Chunks of chicken, English peas, carrots, house made mashed potatoes, chopped parsley. $8.95
Cafe Flore, San Francisco

This was ok. The filling was on the salty side and the mashed potatoes were a little bland. I guess we ordered this to soak up some of the alcohol we had consumed during Sunday Funday, lol!

SF Giants Tiger graffiti mural, 15th Street. I love the composition and colors in this artwork. It’s sinister and cute at the same time.

Pepperoni slice – Nizario’s Pizza

Pepperoni slice - Nizario's Pizza

Nizario’s Pizza, San Francisco CA

Pepperoni slice - Nizario's Pizza

Back in graduate school, I would frequently hit this place after a night of clubbing. These days, I’m less likely to grab pizza with the afterhours crowd – I’m getting old! I did, however, find myself at Nizario’s recently. I’m surprised I was able to take these pics, lol! As if a greasy pepperoni pizza slice isn’t enough, I’ll also cover the slice in red chili flakes, oregano, and parmesan cheese. I’m a mess!

Valley oak (Quercus lobata, Fagaceae), Corona Heights Park/Hill. This is my favorite oak in California. I love the large, deciduous, deeply lobed leaves!

Cream cheese and tomato bagel sandwich – Jumpin’ Java Coffee House

Cream cheese and tomato bagel sandwich - Jumpin' Java Coffee House
On a toasted asiago bagel – $2.75. Large coffee – $2.
Jumpin’ Java Coffee House, San Francisco CA

I used to come to Jumpin’ Java regularly when I live on Castro and 14th. It’s a chill and relaxed place to grab coffee and work on your computer. I think the owners have changed since then, but it’s still a great o place to hang out. The people behind the counter are super nice and the bagels are deelish!
