Pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeno. $4
Nizario’s Pizza, San Francisco CA
This was really unevenly topped, but it still tasted good. I wish the toppings made it all the way down the slice though.

Sliced Spanish chorizo and all-beef frank, repollo, avocado, mayo maya and mustard. $7.95
Los Schucos Latin Hot Dogs, San Francisco CA
Omg, this was HUGE! I don’t know how one person could comfortably eat this thing. It was really good though. I loved the two different meats and it tasted great with all the condiments.

Pico de gallo salsa and tortilla chips. $4
The Castro Republic, San Francisco CA
This was too basic, and the salsa needed more salt. I don’t think I’ll order this again.

$8
Waxman’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
These potatoes were delicious. I’m not sure how they were prepared, but I wouldn’t be surprised if duck fat was involved. Noms!

House-ground lamb and angus beef, burrata and oregano, house aioli spread, served with fries. $15
Lark, San Francisco CA
The patty looked SO tiny on the bun, but it was sure tasty! I’m not sure I’ve ever had a burger with burrata on top before, but I’d definitely have it again (I love burrata!). And the fries were damn good!

Hawaii ranchers beef, sharp white cheddar, bbq ketchup, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, onion. Served with fries. $19.50
Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Honolulu HI
This was a hefty burger, and tasty to boot! The patty was tender and I liked the flavorful condiments. The fries were also pretty great!

Eggplant, treviso, herb creme fraiche. $28
Waxman’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This portion of lamb was very generous. It was cooked perfectly and was wonderfully tender and juicy. The vegetables were also prepared beautifully and went well with the heavier protein.

Roast beef, Island chicken, Island fish, butterflied shrimp, green salad, penne salad, three bean salad, and much more!
Royal Kona Resort, Kailua-Kona HI
I don’t usually like dinner buffets at hotels/weddings, but this it was delicious and I was really surprised at all the different food items that they offered. There was SO much food that I think I only had a plate and a half (which is good for me, hehe).

Local catch, shaved onion, chili pepper, yuzu juice, curry coconut milk, taro chips. $13
Tropics Bar & Grill, Honolulu HI
I liked the curry flavor in this ceviche. It was little different but very delicious. I thought that the watermelon radish was also a nice, pretty touch.

Artichokes, sundried tomatoes, olive and fresh herbs in pepperoncini sauce. $13
Lark, San Francisco CA
This dish was just as tasty this time around. The calamari rings appeared to me larger this time, but I thought they tasted great and were easy to chew.

Shredded baby Kula romaine, Kamuela tomatoes, feta, red onions, lime-caper vinaigrette. $23
Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Honolulu HI
I liked this salad, but the lettuce was over-dressed and almost runny. I liked the flavors and textures of the dish though. I thought the crab was bright and fresh tasting, and the tomatoes were beautifully ripe.

Buttermilk chive spaetzle, romanos, huckleberry mostarda. $32
Waxman’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This was cooked beautifully! The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. I enjoyed the spaetzle and the huckleberry tasted great with the duck.
