$4.50
La Boulangerie de San Francisco, San Francisco CA
This little cream bun was so cute and yummy! The bun was more dense than I was expecting, but it tasted great and was just fun to eat.

Marla Bakery, San Francisco CA
Omg, this was probably one of the best brownies I’ve ever had. It was rich and gooey, and simply perfect. I wish it didn’t have SO many calories because I would eat this everyday with my morning coffee. NOMS!

Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
This kouign amann had a different texture than others that I’m used to. It was as flaky and crisp. Perhaps it had more glaze that soaked into the flaky layers. I liked it though.

Arizmendi Bakery, San Francisco
I liked the flavors in this, but it was actually pretty hard and difficult to chew through. Perhaps it had been sitting out too long? Hmm…
Polish dog, cheese.
Edmonds Bakery, Edmonds WA
I wish the croissant portion was flakier, but I’d imagine it’s difficult to get that texture with a filling of a polish dog and cheese. This was a nice little midday snack though.
Yeast donut topped with chocolate and custard filling.
Edmonds Bakery, Edmonds WA
This was a really large donut! The custard filling was thick and delicious and the chocolate donut had a nice elasticity. Mmm…
Bacon, scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, maple syrup. $10.39
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
This was good, but I wish that the bacon was a little crispier. It’s hard to chew through limp, soggy bacon when biting into a large waffle filled with a lot of stuff.
English muffin with scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, lettuce, ranch. $9.99
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
You can’t tell from this pic, but this sandwich was pretty large. It was hot, messy and delicious. Certainly a great way to start the day with a filling meal.

Arizmendi Bakery, San Francisco
This tasted fine, but it was cold and a bit tough to chew through. I’m sure it was much better out of the oven, but the bread was pretty dense so it hardened quite a bit.
Meyer lemon cake, olive oil lemon curd. $3.25
Moustache Baked Goods, Healdsburg CA
This was good, but I wanted more of the lemon curd. It was very pretty though and I liked the little white balls on top.
With chocolate and slivered almonds. $1.75
Yummy Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
I liked this enough, but I thought that the cone was too soft (it was probably old and had been sitting in the display case for a while). I also thought that it could have had a more intense coffee flavor.
