I didn’t like this very much. The crust was hard and the whole things was pretty dry.

Chickpeas, curry and herb pesto on wheat. $10
The Sentinel, San Francisco CA
I liked this sandwich, but I’m not sure I liked their wheat bun. I like their brioche bun SO much more! The herb pesto was killer though!

Pineapple honey garlic glaze, bok choy, served with rice. $8.95
Fang Restaurant, San Francisco CA
Fang is one of my new favorite lunch places currently. The food tastes great and the prices are super reasonable. These spareribs were very flavorful and pretty meaty.

$14
Hong Kong Lounge II, San Francisco CA
This was OK. The crab meat was labeled “fresh” on the menu, but it didn’t taste very fresh to me.

$4.50
B. Patisserie, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was SO delicious! This kouign amann was so buttery and flaky, and the berry rhubarb filling was perfect. More please!!!

Coffee. $2

Pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce. Slice $6
Slice House, San Francisco CA
Wow, this slice was enough for a meal – it was super thick and filling! The crust was buttery and doughy and pretty good. I personally like thin crusts, but I still enjoyed eating this pizza.

Grilled steak, lettuce, rice, black beans, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo. Super $10.09
Papalote Mexican Grill, San Francisco CA
Omg, just found out that Papalote makes “naked” burritos which is pretty much like a burrito bowl. Heck yeah! I love the proteins at this place because they always cooked them perfectly and they’re always substantial. This is definitely a much better lunch than Chipotle.
