This breakfast wasn’t very good. And the lounge was full of loud and obnoxious kids. Ugh!

Prather Ranch ground beef, cheddar, onions and spinach, potatoes. $13
Starbelly, San Francisco CA
This dish was gross and totally unsatisfying! The was a wet, gooey mess under all that cheese and the dish was surprisingly bland. The only decent part were the potatoes.

Corned beef hash and two poached eggs, served with fresh fruit. $10.50
Bongo Johnny’s, Palm Springs CA
Ok, I may be crazy but I love the soft corned beef hash style that’s like from a can, lol! I’m ghetto, I know. That means that this dish tasted amazing to me, hehe!

Three eggs over medium, hash browns, sausage patties, wheat toast. $9.25
Bongo Johnny’s, Palm Springs CA
I think this plate was less of a jump-start and more of a put-you-in-a-food-coma, hehe. There was nothing special about this dish, but everything was cooked properly and tasted good.

Coffee and mimosa.

Poached eggs, bacon, shallots, green onion, creole tomato sauce. $15
The Parish Cafe, Healdsburg CA
This was SO wonderful! The shrimp were scrumptious as was the creole tomato sauce. Everything just brimming with flavor and it wasn’t too heavy. I thought the grits should have been creamier though. They were pretty stiff when they arrived at the table.

Poached eggs, fried shrimp, smoked tasso ham, house made hollandaise. $15
The Parish Cafe, Healdsburg CA
I really loved the tasty fried shrimp in this dish. They were SO flavorful. I thought that the tasso ham was a bit over-fried though. They were a kinda hard and tough.

Millionaire’s bacon, poached eggs, asparagus, tomato, meyer lemon hollandaise. Served on ciabatta toast with rainbow potato. $17
Kitchen Story, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was really tasty! But anything tastes good with millionaire’s bacon on it. I liked the rainbow potatoes too, but I wished the toasted ciabatta was a softer. You could cut your mouth on those things!

With country sausage gravy, eggs over medium, served with buttermilk biscuits and gravy. $13.75
Orphan Andy’s, San Francisco CA
Omg, I went over the top on this particular night! I guess I thought my usual chicken fried steak late night meal wasn’t enough so I ordered the option that comes with a side of biscuits and gravy, LOL! And this, again, is why I go to the gym. 🙂

Breakfast potatoes, bacon, scrambled eggs. Complimentary
Hilton Garden Inn Cupertino, Cupertino CA
This was gross except for the bacon! The eggs were super wet, the salsa tasted old, and the potatoes (actually, everything) was super cold. Lame. The old lady servicing the dining area was really sweet though. Slow, but sweet.

Sausage gravy, eggs over medium, served with hashbrowns and wheat toast. $10.50
Joe’s Place, Paso Robles CA
I had mixed feelings about this dish. I liked the flavor of the chicken fried steak and gravy. I though the hashbrowns were burnt and my eggs were overcooked. The gravy was also almost too thick for my liking. The wheat toast was delicious.

Wheat toast.

Tri-tip scrambled with eggs, onions, tomatoes, and chilies. Served with beans, homefries, salsa, and tortillas. $10.75
Joe’s Place, Paso Robles CA
I liked the flavor of the machaca, but I thought it the eggs were over scrambled and dry. The tri-tip was also on the verge of being tough and chewy.

With country pork gravy, eggs over medium, home fries, and wheat toast. $13.30
Orphan Andy’s, San Francisco
This dish can only mean one thing – I was out late again, lol! Yup, I ended up at Orphan Andy’s again for my usual plate of heart-stopping goodness. Mmm…
