Caramel, shortbread, burnt wood semifreddo. $12
Ink, Los Angeles CA
This dessert tasted good, but the funnest part was the semifreddo globe. It was fun to break open and mix in with all the other ingredients.

With pad thai. $9.74
Coriander Gourmet Thai, San Francisco CA
This is probably some of the worst Thai food in The City, but it’s also very Americanized and pleasantly familiar tasting. The chicken was dry as usual and the pad thai was bland, but it made for a filling lunch.

Zucchini, bread crumbs. Prix fixe dinner $29.50
Hearth Coffee Roasters, San Francisco CA
Hmm, this wasn’t my favorite. The entire thing was a bit dry, but I did like that the zucchini flavor shined through.
