Mmm, this was so tasty! I love simple and beautiful dishes like this. It’s all about the wonderful ingredients because there’s no fancy preparation or a million ingredients to distract you. Curbside did a great job with this plate!

I’ve been using a lot of fresh basil in my salads lately; it’s working! It must be the season… 🙂
I love basil! I can’t grow it though – the slugs just have a field day with them. 😦
Yeah, I know the feeling! Around here, it’s mold. If I keep it dry enough that the mold doesn’t survive, then the basil doesn’t either… 😦
So I just buy the fresh stuff at the grocery store, and let that keep my happy.
