House margarita – El Chupacabra

House margarita - El Chupacabra

Gold tequila, triple sec and their own sour mix, muddled limes, shaken and served on the rocks in a pint glass. $6
El Chupacabra, Seattle WA

These margaritas were decent. I asked for “no salt” but that’s a minor mistake. There were really annoying “ladies” sitting at the bar though and they were bullying a table of kids sitting nearby. Lame! The ladies seemed liked regulars so I guess they were permitted by the bar staff to bully other guests… 😦

Obanzai – Izakaya Yuzuki

Obanzai - Izakaya Yuzuki
Kyoto style cooked local vegetables, served in three different preparations. Tasting menu
Izakaya Yuzuki, San Francisco CA

I can’t remember all the vegetables in this dish, but on the left are eggplants and on the right are a type of yam. The bowl contains a leafy green. The preparations were delicious and the eggplants were my favorite!

Mmm, this was SO delicious! The tomato stew was certainly rich and flavorful and there was A LOT of cracked dungeness crab in there. I had fun wearing the plastic bib and picking out as much crab meat as possible. 🙂
