Hot pastrami sandwich – Mazarine Coffee

Hot pastrami sandwich - Mazarine Coffee
Swiss cheese, Sonoma Brinery sauerkraut and Russian dressing with arugula side salad. $9.75
Mazarine Coffee, San Francisco CA

This was tasty and different. The pastrami seemed like it was lightly fried or broiled so it had crispy pieces which was nice but there wasn’t much of it. They also took FOREVER to get this out, and I don’t know why because I was the only one who ordered hot food from the kitchen.

Special breakfast sandwich – Devil’s Teeth Baking Company

Special breakfast sandwich - Devil's Teeth Baking Company
Buttermilk biscuit, 2 scrambled eggs, lemon garlic aioli, pepper jack cheese, avocado, bacon. $6.75
Devil’s Teeth Baking Company, San Francisco CA

I love a place where you can relax and have a long conversation with friends without being bothered by work. When the register lady is doing that with the customer in front of you, not so much. Crappy, loud, annoying service always makes your food taste bad.

Hot bbq beef brisket sandwich – Sherman’s Deli and Bakery

Hot bbq beef brisket sandwich - Sherman's Deli and Bakery
Sherman’s favorite served on a French roll, with cottage fries. $13.95
Sherman’s Deli and Bakery, Palm Springs CA

Another gigantic sandwich that I couldn’t finish! I swear that half a sandwich is all I can manage whenever I’m at Sherman’s. I don’t mind though because that just means I get to take some home and enjoy it for later. The brisket was delicious and the fires were also pretty tasty.

Turkey panini – Zocca

Turkey panini - Zocca
Applewood-smoked bacon, tomato and onion jam, spinach, rosemary aioli with side salad. $10
Zocca, San Antonio TX

This was GROSS! It can out within a couple minutes of ordering so it was probably sitting around as part of conference food or something. The bread was already soggy from the condiments liked it’d been sitting around for awhile and just reheated. SO frickin’ LAME!

Adana kebab wrapped sandwich – Gyro King

Adana kebab wrapped sandwich - Gryo King
Skewered minced lamb flavored with spice wrapped with lavash bread with tomatoes, mixed greens and tzatziki sauce. Served with French fries. $9.50
Gyro King, San Francisco CA

I liked this. Well, I liked the adana kebab anyway. The lavash was kinda dry so I wish they had put more tzatziki inside. I was also disappointed by the soggy, limp fries..

Pork and chicken liver mousse sandwich – The Sentinel

Pork and chicken liver mousse sandwich - The Sentinel
With truffles, orange mustard marmalade, sauerkraut. $12
The Sentinel, San Francisco CA

Wow, this has got to be one of my favorite sandwiches from The Sentinel so far! It was frickin’ delicious! I love liver mousse already, but they paired it with some amazing toppings for this sandwich. This was a special that they had, and I hope that I come across it again!
