The Spot, San Francisco CA
I wasn’t too impressed by this chicken. It was good, but nothing special. Even the sauce was just mediocre. The chicken was tender and juicy though, I will give it that.

Tuna tartare, cucumber, crispy wonton, avocado, ponzu. $8
Julian Serrano, Las Vegas NV
These tuna tartare cones were on the small side, but they were fun to eat and yummy. I wish the tuna was less chopped though since the texture was on the mushy/mealy side.

$6.50
Pin Up Pizza, Las Vegas NV
I know you can’t really tell from this pic, but this pizza slice was very large! It’s exactly what I needed after a rough night, lol!

The Whole Beast, San Francisco CA
This slider was pretty tasty. The meat was nice and flavorful and the toppings were great. I especially liked the super soft roll that they used.

Fresh tomatoes, sprinkled with parmesan and red pepper flakes. $4.55
Escape From New York Pizza, San Francisco CA
The was pretty good. Although the meatballs were a bit dry, the pizza slice still had good flavor and the fresh tomatoes were a nice topping for some added moisture. I always like the thin crusts at Escape From New York.

Topped with tomato and plum sauce. SF BBQ Festival
Connecticut Yankee, San Francisco CA
I don’t know that this was my favorite. The brisket was nice and tender, but the tomato and plum sauce topping was too weird for me. The plum wasn’t a good bbq flavor in my opinion.

With brisket beans and coleslaw. SF BBQ Festival
Tex Howard’s Pit-Smoked Bar-B-Que, San Francisco CA
Even though this wasn’t slathered in bbq sauce, I still really enjoyed this plate especially the baby back rib. It had a wonderfully deep smoky flavor and it was tender and juicy.

Broccoli with golden raisins. SF BBQ Festival
CatHead’s BBQ, San Francisco CA
Mmm! This was really good. The pork rib was pretty large and it was saucy and delicious. I also liked the broccoli with golden raisins.

With onions and cilantro. Each $2.95
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
I hadn’t had the al pastor taco here and it was kind of surprising to see the large pineapple chunks thrown on top. It somehow seemed unauthentic and cheese. Regardless, the tacos still tasted great.

Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
These tacos are pretty simple and non-fussy, but the meats are tasty and their salsa bar is great. Mmm…

Salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage and seasoned pork. Large $10
Pizza Hut, San Francisco CA
This was a gut bomb, but I oddly enjoyed it. The crust was pretty gross, but this pizza was the salty, meaty, cheesy mess that I expected and craved.

Seasoned beef, Italian sausage, red onions, jalapenos. Large $17
Pizza Hut, San Francisco CA
Ugh, I was watching football and was craving pizza so I ordered from Pizza Hut. And I was totally disappointed that I did. This was very good, and the crust was soft and mushy. You could just tell that the ingredients were of poor quality.
