They have a pretty good 2-for-1 happy hour here. It’s one of those places where you get a drink at a time and have to go back for the second. I’m used to San Francisco where they give you both drinks at once. I’m sure you get less drunk the DC way. LOL

This is a pretty cool putt-putt place in San Francisco. Yeah, it’s small and indoors but there aren’t many putt-putt options within the city proper. I had a great time and you can get your drink on at the bar beforehand. I think it loosened me up because I ended up beating all my friends, lol!

Wow, that’s some alliteration, lol! I liked the cool and easy vibe of this bar. The bartenders were friendly and responsive despite the busy crowd, and the drinks were pretty well made.

I attended my first Nats game this summer and I really enjoyed their ballpark. (It’s no AT&T Park, but I’m biased, lol!) The Nationals Park was clean and the fans were friendly and well behaved. They also had a great selection of food and drinks. Large $9.75

Mmm, I really liked the Spicy Diablo. It had a nice kick to it that wasn’t too overwhelming. The atmosphere at this bar was also relaxed and the servers were on top of it without being intrusive.

I like the vibe at Hazlewood. It’s small and relaxed, and the bartenders are unpretentious and friendly. The drinks are also creative enough to keep you interested, and they tasted pretty good too!

Mmm, more onion rings! And these were great. They were nicely fried and not very greasy. The ranch dressing was also yummy. This was a great bar to hang out in and our bartender, Simon, was super friendly and great to chat with.

These croquettes were pretty delicious! You don’t find salt cod croquettes at most places so these were a treat. They were perfectly fried and the perfect with the remoulade. I definitely used all of the lemon to cut through its fried richness along with the dipping sauce. Noms!

This bar is kinda randomly located, but the bartender was friendly enough and they have a nice sporty atmosphere with plenty of tables to spread out.

This sports bar is kinda cool. It’s laid back and you can easily tell who the regulars are. I went here after work to kill some time before dinner and I had a pretty good time. My bartender was friendly and attentive so I can’t complain. The drinks were on the weak side, but then again I’m used to the Castro.
