Harlequin ale – The Harlequin Alehouse & Eatery

Harlequin ale - The Harlequin Alehouse & Eatery

Light amber in colour with a toasty, hoppy aroma and smooth smokey flavour. Half pint £2
The Harlequin Alehouse & Eatery, London Heathrow Airport (LHR)

Wow, after a long flight from San Francisco and a long layover before boarding for Dublin, I totally needed this! It was pretty good, but I’m no beer expert. I really think the British pound and coversion rates are gonna kill me, lol!

Chocolate Oreo pudding – Virgin Atlantic

Chocolate Oreo pudding - Virgin Atlantic

Dessert and coffee service. Complimentary.
San Francisco (SFO) to London (LHR), Virgin Atlantic

I’m not a big pudding fan, and this didn’t change my mind. The texture of pudding is SO off-putting for me that I can’t get past it most of the time. The Oreo cookie bits were also really soft in this thing. Not a fan of this one. I love the multilingual coffee cup though!

Camarones a la diabla – Firefly

Omg, this tasted just like sweet and sour shrimp! Ok, I’ll admit that I actually liked this dish because, well, I love sweet and sour anything but it wasn’t very Spanish. This could have been served at a Chinese restaurant and I wouldn’t be able to differentiate the flavor profiles. And where was the heat?!
