Herb roasted chicken – Firewood Cafe

Herb roasted chicken - Firewood Cafe
1/2 rotisserie chicken marinated in olive oil, fresh sage, rosemary and garlic. Served with fire-roasted new potatoes and bread. $9.75
Firewood Cafe, San Francisco CA

I love the rotisserie chicken at Firewood. They’re always moist, tender, and full of flavor! It’s a great value and the potatoes make the perfect side.

Another night, another 1/2 chicken! I’m such a creature of habit, lol!

Giants roll – Miyabi Japanese Cuisine

Giants roll - Miyabi Japanese Cuisine
Filled with spicy sake (salmon) and cucumber, topped with avocado and fish roe (eggs). $12.95
Miyabi Japanese Cuisine, San Francisco CA

Named after the San Francisco Giants baseball team (I assume), this roll gets its Giants orange from the spicy tuna inside and the fish eggs on top. It was good, but I wish the sake was spicier!

The Castro parklet in the morning

The Castro parklet in the morning. The tables and chairs are still chained up in this corner parklet, awaiting the roaming pack of naked locals to take a seat, hehe!
