Served with pita bread, fresh salad, garlic yogurt. $10.50 NZD
The Kebab House, Auckland NZ
Meh, this was just ok. I thought that the lamb kebab could have been more tender and moist. There was also very little salad and yogurt.

Furikake crumb, togarashi sprinkle, yuzu mayo. $19 NZD
Oyster & Chop, Auckland NZ
Wow, this was probably one of the best calamari dishes I’ve had! The squid was super tender, the breading was delicious, and it was perfectly fried. Combine that with the Japanese flavors and you have a winning plate!
Shaved pickled beetroot, roast beetroot, candied walnuts, Drunken Nanny Ash goat’s cheese, lime and vanilla dressing $19 NZD
Oyster & Chop, Auckland NZ
Mmm, I loved this beet dish! It was so delicious and there was an amazing variety of flavors and textures. I especially liked the goat cheese spread underneath and the pea shoots on top.
Mignonette, lemon. Happy hour, each $2 NZD
Oyster & Chop, Auckland NZ
Hmm, I liked that these oysters were super affordable during happy hour, but they didn’t seem very fresh or tasty. They seemed like they could have been previously frozen which is never a good thing. Oh well, you win some you lose some.
Elephant Hill Syrah ($13 NZD) and Mills Reef Cabernet blend ($12 NZD).
