Butternut squash dumplings – E&O Kitchen and Bar

Butternut squash dumplings - E&O Kitchen and Bar
Red curry sauce. Happy hour $1 each
E&O Kitchen and Bar, San Francisco CA

Mmm, these dumplings were really good! I thought the combination of butternut squash and red curry would be weird, but it actually tasted great. The dumplings had a wonderful texture and the sauce was a nice change of pace for pasta.

Mmm! Just give me burrata and I’m one happy camper. I loved these delicious bites of food! It was salty, silky, umami, creamy, and absolutely perfect. NOMS!

Wind Up Bird cocktail - Beretta
Wind Up Bird: Japanese whiskey, carpano bianco, curacao, salted cacao. $11
This cocktail was very herby and liqueury tasting and so it wasn’t my favorite. Although it wasn’t sweet per se, it was leaning toward that profile.

Sassy BLT – The Pink Elephant

Sassy BLT - The Pink Elephant
Sassy bacon, heirloom tomatoes, greens and avocado, with garlic fries. $15
The Pink Elephant, San Francisco CA

The sassy bacon was certainly sassy. Otherwise, this sandwich would have been on the ordinary side. I was actually surprised on their bread choice, but I though that it worked since it was still soft and not too hard and chewy. And their garlic fries rocked!
