I’d been meaning to finally try this hole-in-the-wall 50’s diner on Market Street. We were starving after a night at the theatre so we decided to duck in for a late meal on our way home. The restaurant decor is very kitschy and the service was super friendly, but the food was marginal verging on just plain bad. This burger was pretty large, but really boring and sad looking. The onion rings were limp, soggy and greasy. Ew!

Gyoza – Wasabi Bistro

Gyoza - Wasabi Bistro
Japanese pot stickers with pork and vegetables inside. $5.95
Wasabi Bistro, San Francisco CA

I came here for a random weekday lunch after hitting the gym and it was pretty empty. The food was pretty good though and decently priced. These gyoza were delicious, but I rarely meet a gyoza I don’t like. Hehe.

Place setting. Omg, I just noticed that the chopsticks are from a different restaurant. Perhaps the same owner? Tacky…
