42 Below vodka, cranberry juice, triple sec, citrus. Happy hour $5
Wang’s in the Desert, Palm Springs CA
Nothing beats a good ole happy hour on a warm desert afternoon. Apparently, Wang’s is the place to be on Fridays!

Happy hour damage. Ok, maybe we drink too much, lol!

Windmills along Highway 10.

Absolut citron, triple sec, fresh lime, cilantro. $8
17 North Roadside Kitchen, Mount Pleasant SC
This cocktail was great and had a nice cilantro flavor, but not overpowering. Halfway through dinner, the power went out in the restaurant so we were dining by candlelight alone. We actually didn’t mind because we were having a great time talking and joking about work. The other thing that struck me about this dinner, was that the waiter totally looked like an ex on mine – weird!

Cannons, Fort Moultrie. I wonder how many guys it took to rotate these canons along their tracks?

Southern Comfort whiskey, orange juice, triple sec, gingerale, dash of bitters. $9
Poogan’s Porch, Charleston SC

This cocktail was very refreshing! I thought it might be a little strong because of the whiskey, but the addition of oj, triple sec and ginger ale kept the flavors light and sweet. Mmm, very good!

Heavy wooden door against yellow walls, Fort Moultrie, Sullivan’s Island. This was the door leading to the powder room in this historic fort. The grounds are super clean and very pretty.

Signature drink with Firefly sweet tea vodka, sour, triple sec. $10
Wentworth Grill, Charleston SC
Firefly is a local distillery that’s known for their sweet tea flavored vodka. Most of the restaurants in the Charleston area have some kind of drink that uses it. I liked this sweet tea martini at the Wentworth Grill. It was on the sweet side, but was nicely made and super cold. Heck yeah!

Strings of light, Mad River Bar. We came here on a random night and hung outside at the back bar. It made for a chill and relaxing evening early on.

Featuring Chinaco Blanco tequila, made with fresh lime juice and triple sec, served on the rocks with salted rim. $12
Mesa Grill, Las Vegas NV
Came here for a quick lunch during a conference. I pulled up to the bar and quickly ordered this much-needed margarita. Small but delicious!
