My office bought me this king’s cake for my birthday and it was sweet of them. I even wore the crown out for my birthday work lunch. This cake very good. I loved the flaky crust and the delicious frangipane filling. I thought it was a tad dry though, but that could have been because it was sitting on my desk all morning before we had it for an afternoon treat.

I really like Three Twins ice cream. It has a nice medium consistency that’s not too milky or too dense, and the flavors are great. Here in San Francisco, you can also buy the ice cream at the grocery stores. This mocha flavor was yummy!

Mmm, this was delicious! The panna cotta had a great firm texture and the salted ice cream tasted great especially with the crunchy pretzel crumble.

Damn, the Amish sure can make doughnuts! Apple fritters tend to be dense, heavy, and super sugary but this fritter was airy, light, and so flavorful. I don’t know how they mix their dough, but it’s SO good! I think I’m in love, NOMS!
