When I came here, I didn’t know that the chef was Bart from Top Chef until he came out of the kitchen to say Hello to some friends of his sitting near me. I was tempted to ask for a selfie, but I maintained my cool and refrained, lol!
These waffles were delicious! I loved their airy texture and the smoked salmon interior was yummy. It paired well with the wasabi yogurt sauce. Noms!

I’ve said it before – I’m not a big beer drinker but I’ve been getting lucky with my choices lately! This dark, caramelly Belgian style beer was absolutely delicious! Really great, rich flavor and I loved the cute etched glass that it came in. Helps me to forgive the place for having a Kalifornia Kolsch. Don’t they know that only beer brewed in Cologne (Koln) can be called Kolsch!?

I don’t usually enjoy a lot of beers, but I really like this one! It was light and flavorful. And how can you complain when it comes in such a cute glass?! The beer list is quite extensive at The Monk’s Kettle, but the bartender is super friendly and helpful.
