Chicken inasal is a well known Ilonggo dish of marinated chicken that’s grilled. I don’t think I’d ever had it before, but this airplane version wasn’t very good. I don’t know what spices they used, but it was kind of sour and unpleasant tasting. I’m not sure how authentic the PAL version was, but I don’t think I’d eat it again if that was how it was supposed to taste.

Filipino street food cart with banana cue, potato wedges, and what I think are large lumpias?
Based on your description, that is definitely not the real chicken inasal. Hope you eventually get to try proper chicken inasal.
I’ll look for it the next time I’m back!
I miss banana cues!!!!
I think they’d be a hit in SF. Maybe I should open one up! lol
You should! You’d make a ton of business!
Can I have One Filipino Cart to go please!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
