Pepperoni, San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil. $12
Prova Pizzeria, West Hollywood CA
This pizza was pretty gross. The crust was SO under-cooked – it was like chewing through play dough. Ugh, what a pizza fail!

Basil pesto, feta, mozzarella cheese. Slice $2.50
Arizmendi Bakery, San Francisco CA
This was a yummy slice of pizza and I love that they always through in a little extra sliver. Mmm…

$4
The Slice Pizza, San Francisco CA
This pizza slice was satisfyingly salty and greasy. Too bad I was having it as a quick dinner instead of a post-bar meal, lol!

Thin crust, extra virgin olive oil, fresh garlic, mozzarella, pepperoni, sliced ham, mushrooms, basil, Italian seasonings, parmesan. Personal $9.95
Rustic Fire, Paso Robles CA
This pizza was pretty big for a personal size – I was expecting it to arrive much smaller. I also loved the thin crust and all the chopped, fresh basil on top. Noms!

Salami, sausage, anchovies, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions. $17.75
The Sausage Factory, San Francisco CA
I liked the flavors of this pizza, but it felt like the toppings were a bit undone. It was weird because the crust was cooked all the way through, but the toppings felt undercooked. Hmm…

Sprinkled with additional parmesan, oregano and red pepper flakes. $4.14
Escape From New York Pizza, San Francisco CA
I wish pizza wasn’t so bad for my diet. I would eat it WAY more often, lol! There is no denying a salty, greasy slice that only pizza can provide. Mmm…

Sausage, pepperoni, jalapeno, black olive, pepperoncini, red onion, fresh mozzarella. $8.65
Blaze Pizza, Cabazon CA
I think I kinda went overboard with the toppings, lol! There definitely such a think as too many toppings. It still tasted good though and their crust was decent for a quick, fast-food style pizza.

Pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeno. $4
Nizario’s Pizza, San Francisco CA
This is a slight variation from my favorite Hawaiian slice, but the extra fat from the pepperoni and heat from the jalapeno were great. Noms!

Bacon, two eggs, mozzarella, pecorino, and cracked black pepper. $15
Beretta, San Francisco CA
This pizza was very good! The crust was thin and delicious and the toppings were wonderful! Sure it was rich, fatty and heavy but all the flavors and textures worked perfectly together. Noms!

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. $7

Sprinkled with additional parmesan, oregano and red pepper flakes. $4.14
Escape From New York Pizza, San Francisco CA
I love a good slice of pepperoni pizza. It’s simple, classic and usually delicious. I liked the one from Escape only when it’s fresh from the oven. Thank goodness they had just put this one out on display. Yay!

Fresh tomatoes and basil with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, fire roasted on fresh dough. $20
Opolo Vineyards, Paso Robles CA
This pizza was great. I loved the wonderful crust and the toppings tasted fresh and delicious. Noms! Twenty bucks seems a bit overpriced, but it does come with a glass of wine.

Canadian bacon, ham, and pineapple. $4.49
Sbarro, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
This slice wasn’t very good. The crust was cardboard-y and there was SO much cold and lifeless cheese on it. It felt like work trying to eat this. Lame!
