I love these things. They’re SO buttery and soft. I’m sure they’re packed with as much fat as possible and that’s why they taste so good. Mmm…

I enjoyed this and liked the large slices of apple, but there was just too much sugar/cinnamon on top. I don’t have much a sweet tooth so it just got tiresome wiping away the excess sugar.

I was running late one morning and didn’t have time to eat breakfast at home so I had to grab a pastry before walking into my workplace. Specialty’s is right outside my Bart Station so it’s pretty convenient. They also sell discounted day old pastries which I don’t mind grabbing once in a while. This peach croissant was ok, and you could definitely tell it wasn’t freshly baked. Day old $1.49

This croissant was pretty big, but for almost five bucks I’d expect it to be. Like everything else at Specialty’s this croissant was extra buttery and heart clogging. Yum! $4.25

Side soup $2.99
Specialty’s Cafe & Bakery, South San Francisco CA

I was pretty disappointed with this soup. It wasn’t at all spicy and it had a dry quality to it. Ugh!

Multiseed roll. Complimentary

Mmm, these are SO frickin’ good! I think they cram a pound of butter into each cookie which makes them so soft and delicious, lol! Their website even has a Warm Cookie Radar map which shows you the location of the nearest bakery with fresh out-of-the-oven cookies. Genius! $2.39
