Fried egg, rice, pickled vegetables. $9.50
BiBi Ja Truck, Washington DC

This was a great and hearty lunch! I liked the pork – it was very flavorful but it could have used a bit more heat. When everything was tossed together, it tasted great!

Mac and cheese topped with beef brisket and pulled pork. $13
Carnivore BBQ Truck, Washington DC
Mmm, this was heaven to me! A plate of mac and cheese topped with bbq meats and loads of bbq sauce – put a fork in me cause I’m done! NOMS!

Chickpeas and salad, hot sauce and dill sauce. $9
Tasty Kabob Truck, Washington DC
This was decent. The lamb was kinda dry and burnt on many of the edges, but I liked the overall flavor of everything.

Tofu fried balls with shiitake mushrooms, bell peppers, roasted flaxseeds, topped with Kokio soy garlic sauce, veggie mayo, and parsley. Combo $12.75
Kokio Republic, San Francisco CA
I liked these balls, lol! They had a soft center and they were packed with flavor. Two balls didn’t seem like much, but they were surprisingly filling.

Topped with sesame seeds, almond, and parsley. Combo $12.75
Kokio Republic, San Francisco CA
These chicken pieces from Kokio are great. I’m not as excited about their soy garlic flavor because it was a bit too salty. The chicken was nicely prepared though and super moist.

Topped with pico del gallo and avocado.
Sammy’s Sonoran Dogs, Seattle WA
This hot dog was large and messy, but it tasted great with the beer at Lucky Envelope Brewing. Mmm…

Served with bbq beans and coleslaw. $10
The Boneyard, San Francisco CA
Mmm, yes please! I love The Boneyard’s beef brisket. It’s so smoky, tender, and delicious. In fact, everything in this bowl tasted great.

Shallot infused rice topped with Meyer’s all natural braised short rib, Halmuni’s gravy, and a fried egg. $11
Seoul of Taipei, San Francisco CA
I thought I would like this more. The gravy had a nice flavor, but the short rib was pretty tough and difficult to eat. The fried egg also looked pretty unappetizing.

With garlic fries. $12.50
Derby Grill, San Francisco CA
These weren’t good. They were dry and had a weird texture. They had definitely been frozen for a while before finally getting deep fried. I didn’t expect them to be fresh, but I thought they’d taste better.

Kimchi fried rice balls with bacon, sauteed onions, topped with fried kimchi, parmesan cheese, creamy sriracha, sour cream, and parsley. Combo $12.75
Kokio Republic, San Francisco CA
Wow, these balls just slapped you in the face with flavor! And the kimchi flavor definitely lingered (some mouthwash was definitely needed). These balls were so fun, comforting, and delicious.

Kokio Republic, San Francisco CA
Mmm, I loved these warm, sticky, and delicious fried chicken breast pieces! I got the 5 piece combo with the fried balls and it was SO much food. These weren’t “hot” at all so that was kinda disappointing, but they were very addicting.

Kokio Republic truck.

With arugula, Italian bread and extra sauce. $9
Red Sauce Meatballs, San Francisco CA
Mmm, I really liked these meatballs! They were moist and flavorful and the sauce tasted great. I think that the parmesan cheese and and arugula were perfect additions to this dish. I could have done without the lame bread though.
