This wasn’t very good. The maple frosting was sickeningly sweet and the cronot was dry and tasted very artificial. Yuck!

Creamy Boston clam chowder – Sinbad’s Pier 2 Restaurant

This was decent, but not very memorable. It had a nice creamy texture but there was nothing special about it to set it apart from other clam chowders in the city.
Pescado and lengua tacos – Uno Dos Tacos
Wild fried cod, chipotle salsa ($4.50). Braised beef tongue with tomatillo salsa ($3.50). Served with side of black beans with queso fresco.

Tacos for lunch always makes for a yummy lunch! I think the fish tacos are still my favorite, but their lengua is a close second.
