These prawns were really tasty, but someone at our table requested that they be peeled before cooking. NO!!! There’s SO much more flavor when they’re cooked whole, and I love sucking on the heads. That’s where all the goodness is located.

You are absolutely right. Cooking shrimps whole, with the shells and heads,provide maximum flavour.
I don’t find peeling them afterward, but I think it grosses some people out to have to peel and eat.
Only a few people appreciate the superb flavor of the shrimp heads. Great to know that you like it. My wife doesn’t like it so more for me. 🙂
Yeah, I don’t mind when people at the table don’t like them either because I can have theirs too. 🙂
