This place was super cute and the service was friendly although we had a large party so our waiter was a little scarce once we got our food. My bloody mary was tasty, but the pork belly description was a bit misleading and the cocktail was fairly small.

Heaven Sent Fried Chicken, Seattle WA
Apparently Ezell Stephens, a former partner of Ezell’s, has opened this new chain of fried chicken eateries due to legal battles. I’ve never actually tried Ezell’s on First Hill even though it’s one of Oprah Winfrey’s favorite Seattle sites, so I wasn’t going to pass up a chance to try the same fried chicken served from Stephens’ re-named restaurant. The chicken was VERY juicy and tender but I was expecting it to have a little more flavor (I was even eating the spicy variety). It was very good, but probably not the best fried chicken I’ve ever had.

This drink was way too sour for my taste! They must have put a crap-load of lemon juice in this thing. Too bad because I was excited for the rye-honey liqueur combo. 😦
