Tai Cook, Shanghai CHINA
This was gross. It had a thick, gelatinous texture that wasn’t appealing. The menu also said it was “hot”, but this wasn’t spicy at all. Lame.

This soup was just ok. Actually, kind of bland if you ask me. There wasn’t enough of that delicious galangal flavor that I was expecting.

I didn’t like these at all. They were super dry and bland, even when dip in the sweet and sour sauce. The flaky, crispy coating only added to the dry quality of the shrimp cakes. Lame.

This was ok. The pork had a weird texture that I didn’t like and the dipping sauce was kinda gross. I wasn’t expecting to eat Chinese food for my first sit down meal in Shanghai but I wasn’t the one who chose the restaurant.
