Mmm, this large samosa was delicious! I outside was hot and flaky and the inside was soft and flavorful. A great yummy treat to accompany my lunch meal.
Thrilled at the recently arrived parcel. Thanks so much, it made my day.
Again, sorry for the delay! Glad you enjoyed receiving it. π
I have sent you a pot of ‘Welshman’s Cavier’ but forgot the card I’d written to enclose with it, which I just found! I hope it gets to you – think Japanese nori.
Yes, thanks for the wonderful surprise, Mr. Edible! I received it a week ago between trips and haven’t had the chance to try it yet, but I’m excited to do so. Is it traditionally eaten by itself or with other food?
I just got your message. I hope the WC was not too much of a disappointment. The traditional seaweed dish here is laverbread, not a bread but a gloopy mess of fresh boiled laver seaweed, an acquired taste. It was dubbed ‘the Welshman’s caviar’ by the Welsh actor and hedonist Richard Burton – I’m sure he made Liz Taylor try some on their many trips back to his homeland. WC is a new product which perhaps owes more to Japan that Wales. We’ve used it in scrambled eggs with great results.
Not at all! I was very excited and happy to receive it, and I will try it in scrambled eggs this weekend! π
Mmm, I love samosas!
Me too! noms
