Served with steamed vegetables.
Sitges ES
Ugh, I can’t remember the name of this restaurant. It was located inland in their downtown area near(ish) the train station. Oh well. The food was pretty good though and the service was excellent. Our waitress was very sweet and helfpful. We sat outside in their back patio area and had a wonderful meal. These baby squid were adorable and tasty too! I would have enjoyed a different side than the steamed veggies though.

Complimentary crostini with roasted peppers and cheese. Luis Canas Crianza 2007, rioja.

Casa Bacardi Sitges. I thought it was weird to have a large Bacardi tasting room/museum in Sitges, but I’m usually clueless about most things. ๐
I DO share your enthusiasm for grilled baby squid ๐
Yay! They’re yummy.
That 2007 Rioja Crianza looks delicious – and would cost a bazillion dollars in the States. Nice!
I take it you are not a fan of cauliflower? ๐
Nope, I actually love cauliflower. I just thought that steamed vegetables seemed a bit pedestrian for a vacay meal. ๐
Oh, I agree. I adore any vegetable that is roasted. That caramelization and sweet flavor is to die for. I wish that they had at least sautรฉed them lightly in some butterโฆ. ๐ Nice vacay photos – loving them!
Not sure I share your enthusium for grilled babt squid, but the veggies look great. It does look like a nice dish though, but I would have to have a different type of seafood. Love your photos.
Thanks, Angie!
See, this is one meal I would not have to eat vicariously through you, love it, (right down to the steamed vegetables) and yes, they are adorable!
Lol, glad you enjoy it. I’m a huge squid fan and remember “squidding” as a kid!
