I liked the combination of slightly savory and sweet in this dish, and the texture of the buckwheat pancakes was great. I would say that was a pretty successful plate!

Breakfast. It wasn’t overly sweet though.
I’m not sure how I feel about buckwheat yet. I like savory crepes, which are traditionally buckwheat, but they do have a very distinct flavor that takes a little getting used to.
These tasted pretty mild, and the other ingredients helped to further mask the buckwheat flavor.
