We weren’t sure what we were gonna get when we ordered this. I kind of imagine that it would the kind of pancake that you get with moo shu pork or something. Instead, these were really thin dry, almost cracker-like, pancakes filled with strip of beef. They were actually really good!

Hi Vicente– these do look inviting!! Not what I think of as Chinese dumplings–but I’d like to try them! Our SF favorite is Shanghai Dumpling King (in the Sunset)– have you been there?
Yup, I love that place too! Their XLB weren’t as good the last time I was there though.
We were there on a Chinese Holiday once and musicians and lion dancers wove through that tiny place between all the tables! pretty exciting…
That sounds fabulous! I was at Café Du Monde in NOLA one time and a random procession walked by from the park. Those chance happenings are SO cool!
