I went to a niece Maya’s 1st birthday party and of course there was plenty of Filipino food. They got a local restaurant to cater it and the food was pretty good. I don’t even know what everything was (I’m such a bad Filipino, lol), but I ate everything! π

Has anyone thought of a ‘Wikivittle’. Lol.
Lol, you should get on that! π
I have been craving for “party-style” bite-sized lumpia’s for so long. I hope my housemate prepares some on NYE!
They’re SO addicting! Ok, gym time to work off that food. π
yum!!! A friend of mine used to throw the most amazing parties with all of her Filipino friends–noodles dishes, etc–potluck and there was no going away hungry. Her husband loves tequila, so would be pouring the good stuff and also poured amazing margaritas. Thanks for jogging my memory π
Lol, their daughter (age 4 now) is named Maya, too! Happy bday to your neice π
Thanks! Glad to hear that you’ve experienced the awesome Filipino party atmosphere which hopefully included to-go plates. π
lumpia, pancit, chicken adobo,?,?
Wow, someone knows their Filipino food! π
There’s also lechon, pinakbet and some other pork dish in there!
My friends dad made a delicious pork dish for her birthday. I can’t remember the name
Mechado, sisig, caldereta?
Istapado?
Afritido, embutido? lol
Maybe afritado
Lumpia! Yum — one of my favorites!
I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who doesn’t like lumpia. It’s like a universal constant! Hehe
