Bouchon Bakery, Yountville CA
A nine dollar quiche that I had to wait 20 minutes for in an uncomfortable, dizzying mad-house? No thank you. I’ve learned my lesson. The quiche was tasty (probably because there was a pound of butter in it) but I couldn’t get over the wait and stress. If you must visit Bouchon Bakery, I would suggest not getting anything that needs to be heated up or prepared in any way. You’ll regret it.

Yeah, my partner has a membership there. We’re actually headed back this weekend for lunch at Etoile (their on-site restaurant) with some friends.
My family went to Chandon during our Napa Valley vacation a few years ago. It was one of my and my sister’s favorite wineries that we visited. I’ve heard very good things about Etoile, so have fun there with your friends!
Thanks! I’ve only eaten there for corporate dinners so it’ll be nice to enjoy a relaxing Sunday lunch.
